The hosts and calligraphy artists are absolutely the best people, so kind and patient. Their English is better than they give themselves credit for and they also have translators. Book this, you'll have an absolute blast and you can get your calligraphy on a shirt or scroll.

A WONDERFUL experience

Noriko and Midori offered a WONDERFUL experience teaching my friends, daughter and I traditional Japanese calligraphy! They helped us make souvenir t-shirts. We learned a lot and helped us create a memorable gift!

Fascinating experience!

I found it incredibly fascinating to learn how the language is created in Japanese! Together with our instructors we searched for our names in calligraphy and incorporated them into a t-shirt and a scroll. The instructors were very sweet, patient and knew all about it. I felt very comfortable!!
