Experience the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The experience begins with changing into traditional Japanese workwear before starting the workshop. You will grind a solid inkstick to create authentic ink, taking a moment to slow down and connect with the art of calligraphy. After that, you will practice basic brush techniques to get comfortable with the brush. Finally, you will transform your name into kanji and create your own original calligraphy artwork to take home as a memorable souvenir.
