Full Description

Relax and enjoy a comfortable bus ride from Shinjuku (approx. 2 hours) as you leave the city behind and head into the beautiful Hakone area.

Your first stop is a hidden scenic park, a secret spot known for its breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and a nearby temple structure. Despite its beauty, it remains uncrowded, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful and refreshing start to your day.

Next, head to Sounzan Station, where you will board the Hakone Ropeway. Enjoy a thrilling ride through the mountains as you make your way to Owakudani, an active volcanic valley. Here, you can experience the unique smell of sulfur and see steam rising from the earth. Don’t miss the famous black eggs, said to add seven years to your life!

At Owakudani, you will have free time to explore and enjoy lunch at your own pace.

Afterward, travel to Togendai Port and board a pirate ship for a scenic cruise across Lake Ashi to Hakone-machi Port. Relax and take in the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains during the ride.

Finally, visit the historic Hakone Shrine, nestled in a tranquil forest setting. Here, you can see the iconic red torii gate standing in the lake and learn about Shinto beliefs and traditions from your guide. It’s the perfect place to unwind and reflect at the end of your journey.

After a full day of exploration, return to Tokyo, arriving in Shinjuku around 6:00 PM.
